Connect an Exchange

Connection Methods​

Sigma Engine connects to exchanges via two methods depending on the exchange. Both methods are non-custodial — we can never withdraw or move your funds.

  • Linked Signer — A delegated signing key that can only place/cancel orders. Some DEXs use this model.
  • API Keys — An API key + secret with trading-only permissions. Some DEXs and all CEXs use this model.

Setup Steps​

  1. Connect your wallet on Sigma Engine
  2. Navigate to Connections in the sidebar
  3. Select the exchange you want to connect
  4. Follow the prompts (link signer or paste API key depending on exchange)
  5. All credentials are encrypted immediately and stored securely
  6. Revoke access anytime via the exchange's own settings
