This section explains every setting you see on the Strategy Builder page. Each setting is described with what it does, recommended values, and warnings about risky configurations.
Which bot are you using?
- Ladder Bot Settings — All settings for the geometric ladder market maker (modes 1-5, spreads, levels, risk controls, execution tuning)
- Pro Trader Bot Settings — All settings for the HFT scalper (presets, signal engine, swing mode)

Most Important Settings
| Setting | Why It Matters |

| Min Profit (bps) | Controls how long positions are held. Too high = inventory accumulation. |
| Max Inventory | Hard cap on position size. Prevents runaway accumulation. |
| Stop Loss | Emergency exit. Safety net against sustained adverse moves. |
| Signal Engine | ON = smarter entries/exits. OFF = pure mechanical. Keep it ON. |
Common Mistakes
| Mistake | What Happens | Fix |

| Min profit too high + Profit Protection ON | Bot accumulates huge position waiting for profit target | Lower min profit or turn off Profit Protection |
| Max inventory too low for order size × levels | Bot constantly hits cap, stops placing orders | Increase max inventory or reduce levels |
| Tight spreads on thin markets | Frequent adverse selection (getting picked off) | Widen spreads for low-liquidity coins |
| High leverage + no stop loss | Small move = liquidation | Use 1-3x leverage or set a stop loss |
| Range Protection OFF (default) | One-sided accumulation near 24h extremes | Turn ON "Disable Range Protection" |
