Standard
2-tier requoting with signal engine enabled. Inner orders respond to small price moves, outer orders sit wider and catch wicks. Symmetric — no directional bias.
How it works
Orders are grouped into 2 tiers, each with its own requote sensitivity:
| Tier | Requotes when price moves | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Inner | 2+ bps | Tight spread capture, frequent fills |
| Outer | 10+ bps | Wider range capture, catches wicks |
Both sides requote together — the bot doesn't try to predict direction. The signal engine is ON, providing data to the spread calculator (Avellaneda-Stoikov or GLFT if enabled), but the grid itself stays symmetric.
vs Simple Grid
Standard adds tiered requoting. In Simple Grid, all orders requote at the same threshold. Standard lets inner orders stay responsive while outer orders sit and wait for bigger moves, giving better fill distribution.
When to use
- You want more structure than Simple Grid but aren't ready for directional trading
- Running multiple markets and want consistent, predictable behavior
- Any time you're unsure whether your signals are calibrated
